TP MedTech has officially launched the VIVIT Tissue-Clearing Kit series, making the technology now available to researchers. The kits translate the latest breakthrough from Professor Yuan Kexin’s team at Tsinghua University, published in Cell on August 11, 2025, into a ready-to-use product. By applying ionic liquid–based clearing technology, VIVIT enables high-fidelity 3D tissue imaging and offers researchers a practical solution for advancing spatial biology.
Innovative Breakthroughs of VIVIT
With its innovation in glassy-state tissue clearing, VIVIT addresses several core challenges of traditional methods. First, while achieving a stable “glassy state,” VIVIT causes almost no expansion or shrinkage in tissues, keeping deformation below 1%. Second, VIVIT-treated samples remain stable during long-term storage at –80 °C and can be freeze–thawed multiple times without suffering ice-crystal damage. In addition, experimental results show that VIVIT significantly enhances fluorescence signals, boosting them to 2–30 times their original intensity. This makes previously undetectable weak markers clearly visible, and the fluorescence signals can be preserved over the long term under low-temperature conditions.
VIVIT tissue-clearing kits adapt to diverse tissues and application scenarios
VIVIT Kits Unlock New Possibilities in Research
VIVIT sets a new standard for 3D tissue imaging, enabling high resolution, stable fluorescence signals, and multiple rounds of staining all within the same sample.
To bring this breakthrough directly to researchers, TP MedTech has developed a portfolio of VIVIT Tissue-Clearing Kits tailored to diverse experimental needs. The kits support applications across non-adipose tissues (e.g., brain, heart), adipose-rich tissues (e.g., liver, lymph nodes), thick sections after immunofluorescence staining, and even stained adipose-rich tissue sections.
TP MedTech not only provides ready-to-use kits but also technical guidance and customized solutions. With VIVIT, researchers can push the boundaries of spatial biology with greater clarity, stability, and efficiency.
