On August 24, the glassy tissue-clearing technology VIVIT received the Gold Award at the 11th International Invention Exhibition. Developed by Professor Yuan Kexin’s lab at Tsinghua University, with TP MedTech contributing as a co-author institution, VIVIT has now been transformed into a ready-to-use product line. The VIVIT Tissue-Clearing Kit series is officially available for research laboratories worldwide.

VIVIT overcomes the limitations of traditional histology in 3D imaging by making ex vivo tissues transparent without deformation, while also enhancing signals, enabling iterative immunostaining, and supporting freeze–thaw reuse. This allows researchers to obtain more complete and higher-resolution 3D structural maps of biological tissues. Laboratory data show that VIVIT-treated samples not only reveal clear macroscopic spatial organization but also preserve subcellular details down to the nanometer scale.

This award is a strong recognition of VIVIT’s scientific innovation and further validates its broad potential across applications such as disease mechanism studies, clinical diagnostics, and drug development.
